From a golden retriever who goes overboard to play with her aquatic friends, to a stray hound dog who is BFFs with a playful primate, this series tells heartwarming stories of friendship and camaraderie between the most surprising animal pairs.

Each week, back-to-back episodes follow the friendships of loveable pups and their surprising sidekicks as they support, nurture, protect and play with one another. In addition, each episode features first-hand commentary from the dogs’ owners, animal behaviorists, and canine experts as they evaluate these remarkable relationships.

Notable stories include: a high-energy hound who meets his match when he’s introduced to an orphaned tiger cub; a skittish watch dog who nurtures a weak foal back to health; a two-legged dachshund who discovers his purrrfect companion is a 3-legged cat; and a black lab who learns that size doesn’t matter after befriending an elephant named Bubbles.
