Born Addicted (1 x 60′) – Every year 130 babies are born in Ireland addicted to drugs, passed on through their mother’s dependency on methadone. Their first act on entering the world is to go through withdrawal. Born Addicted considers the issue from all angles including the medics, the parents and the children – now adults – who suffered through it. Behind the statistics are real people who are desperate to break the cycle of addiction for the sake of their own children. This is their story.
