United Nations Street (1 x 30′ pilot) – Narborough Road in Leicester is Britain’s most diverse street, where people from 22 nationalities live and work side by side. This is a community with a unique sense of identity, a place with its own daily challenges – and triumphs.
This programme spends time with the residents, the people who work in the local businesses, shops, churches, mosques, schools and hospitals; and those who police, patrol, and maintain the street – creating a fascinating snapshot of modern Britain.
