Kelly Webb Lamb has been appointed as Head of Factual Entertainment at Channel 4, reporting to Liam Humphreys Head of Entertainment. She will oversee Factual Entertainment output across the channel; developing established brands, overseeing ambitious upcoming projects and working closely with Liam in driving forward the strategy of delivering innovative, entertaining shows which offer a fresh perspectives on contemporary issues.
Kelly will have 3 direct commissioning reports; Commissioning Editors Ian Dunkley, Lucy Leveugle and Danny Carvalho. She will be taking up the role in September 2016.
Kelly stepped down from her role of Managing Director at Shine in October 2015. During 4 years at Shine she redefined the company as a leading producer of popular factual with hits including the BAFTA and RTS award winner The Island with Bear Grylls and Hunted for Channel 4 as well as hits for other channels including BBC 1’s All Change at Longleat, Britain’s Best Bakery, The Undriveables and Help! I’m Having Triplets for ITV and Sky 1’s The Force: Manchester.
Prior to her time at Shine, Kelly was Creative Director of Factual Entertainment at Princess and previously Series Editor of The Apprentice, overseeing the move to BBC1 in Series 3.
