Juno’s expected 4th July 2016 arrival at the gas giant follows a spectacular 1.75-billion-mile, five-year journey across the solar system in one of the most highly anticipated planetary explorations to date that’s expected to reveal the mysteries of Jupiter’s violent storms, its composition and formation, and secrets about our own planet Earth.

The short-form series chronicles the inside story behind the ground-breaking mission, featuring intimate interviews with principal investigator Dr. Scott Bolton and JPL project scientist Steven Levin. Presented in brilliant 4K ultra-high definition quality, viewers will enjoy stunning archive footage and captivating CGI produced by NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio that illustrate the vital role of the mission in uncovering some of the greatest mysteries about Earth and our entire solar system.
